The EM Audio Mini Team 18” is built for those who want serious low-end authority without stepping into the largest platforms. Sitting perfectly between the 15” and 21”, this sub delivers deep extension, massive air movement, and strong daily performance—all while maintaining the control and responsiveness EM Audio is known for.
This isn’t just a bigger woofer—it’s a purpose-built high-output driver designed to handle real power and real abuse. Rated at a conservative 3,500 watts RMS, the Mini Team 18 is engineered to stay consistent under heavy load, making it ideal for daily systems, demos, and high-output builds.
At the core is a high-efficiency motor structure designed to provide strong motor force and precise control across the entire stroke. This allows the 18” platform to move significant air while maintaining tight, accurate bass response.
The Mini Team 18 is equipped with a 3” (86mm) 8-layer American-made aluminum flat wound PE voice coil, delivering excellent thermal capacity and efficiency. This setup allows the sub to take power confidently while maintaining performance during extended play.
A 10” progressive spider pack keeps the moving assembly centered and stable during extreme excursion, ensuring smooth operation and reduced distortion even at high output levels. Combined with EM Audio’s latest soft parts, this sub delivers deep, aggressive bass with control you can feel.
Cooling is handled through pole venting and perimeter voice coil cooling, effectively reducing heat buildup and power compression so the sub can stay consistent during long demos or daily use.
The heavy-duty TI frame and ventilated motor structure improve airflow and durability, ensuring this sub holds up under serious punishment.
