ELECTRICAL & INSTALLATION

At this power level, upgraded electrical support is required for reliable full-output operation. Use properly sized OFC power and ground wiring, solid low-resistance grounds, correct fusing, and enough charging and battery reserve to keep voltage stable under load.

Warranty coverage does not include operation below 11V. If you are running the 5000.2 hard at 1 ohm per channel, the charging system and reserve capacity need to be designed around that demand. A Big 3 upgrade and high-output charging are strongly recommended.

Yes. The standard 1-year manufacturer defect warranty covers operation down to 1 ohm per channel when Ruthless warranty conditions are met.

How much power does it actually make?

The factory rating is 2,500W × 2 at 1 ohm. Certified dyno testing measured 5,477W combined at 1 ohm, with dynamic testing reaching 6,094W combined under the test conditions shown above.

Can I use it for mids and highs?

Yes. The 5000.2 is designed as a high-output 2-channel amplifier and can be used for demanding stereo speaker systems as long as the drivers, crossover strategy, gain structure, and final impedance are appropriate.

What is the difference between Black and Red?

Finish only. Both colors use the same Ruthless 5000.2 platform, performance specifications, and warranty options.

What can void warranty coverage?

Warranty does not cover vibration damage, wire or debris inside the amplifier, wiring below the covered impedance, external RCA damage, excessive clipping, or operation below 11V. Full warranty terms apply.
